We are a not-for-profit educational charity and thought leader in career education and development.
Our mission is the advancement of career development and education for the public benefit of all Australians.
The Australian Centre for Career Education commenced in 1975 to train teachers in secondary schools to support student subject choices and transitioning. We have a proud history of service to the education and community sectors, governments, and the community. We have a national focus on the development and delivery of high-quality career resources, training, and consulting services across Australia.

We are a member of The International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance (IAEVG) and staff members who are members of the National Career Development Association of America (NCDA).
Victoria has 32 regional careers groups (networks). These groups link with ACCE to support careers practitioners in their work. The groups usually have school-based members plus representatives from TAFEs and universities, other employer organisations and Local Learning and Employment Networks (LLEN) representatives and meet monthly or quarterly.
