Rail Projects Victoria (RPV) is delivering Victoria’s largest ever rail infrastructure pipeline. The rail industry is an emerging industry and priority growth area across our region with large-scale investment in rail infrastructure, construction, operation, and maintenance works. The continuity of work is strong for the next few years and presents great long term job prospects across the sector in rail specific, construction and infrastructure roles.

ACCE, in collaboration with the Shepparton Industry Training Hub, and support fromRail Projects Victoria and ColemanRail,will deliver a series of webinars and resources that showcase future career paths in the regional rail and construction industries over Terms 2, 3 and 4 in 2022.

ACCE will deliver the project in 2 stages:

•Stage 1 Rail project: capacity building for educators and careers advisors through webinars and resources

•Stage 2Rail project –students showcase, student resources and industry tours

Through student showcases, webinars and industry immersion experiences students will learn about the huge variety of occupations and opportunities as well as the skilled pathways into regional rail and construction roles

Guest speakers will discuss forthcoming and future opportunities in the Rail Industry over the next 3-5 years
